The American Queen Steamboat Co. (AQSC) Wednesday released the first photos of its newest ship, the American Countess.
The fourth vessel in the company's U.S. river fleet, the paddlewheeler is expected to debut in spring of 2021, offering six- and 15-day itineraries along the Tennessee, Ohio, Cumberland, and Mississippi rivers.

The American Countess has four decks, including a dedicated sun deck; four categories of staterooms that can hold up to 245 guests; a modern gym; and plenty of open, public spaces with sweeping views, AQSC said.
Originally set to sail this summer, the ship's debut was postponed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
