AmaWaterways unveiled two itineraries that its new ships in Colombia will sail next year on the Magdalena River.
The seven-night Magic of Colombia and Wonders of Colombia cruises will sail between Cartagena and Barranquilla. Both itineraries will be available on the AmaMagdalena and the AmaMelodia.
The 60-passenger AmaMagdalena will launch on March 30, 2024, and the 64-passenger AmaMelodia on June 19, 2024.
Itinerary highlights will be celebrating Carnival in Barranquilla with exclusive live musical performances for cruise guests, historical walking tours in towns like Mompox, and birdwatching tours. There will also be a visit to the village of Palenque, the first "free town" for former African slaves in the Americas.
