Avalon Waterways will begin offering four-, five- and
six-day river cruises in 2020.
The sailings can be booked alone or in conjunction with
private or group land tours through the Globus family of brands' Your Way
program that links Avalon bookings with tours from sisters companies Globus and
Monograms.
Avalon said the shorter river itineraries are ideal for
time-starved travelers and those wanting to try river cruising for the first
time.
The itineraries include a four-day "Tastes of the
Danube" cruise between Budapest and Vienna, with price starting at
$1,099.
A five-day "Taste of the Rhine" cruise between
Mainz, Germany, and Amsterdam starts at $1,999 and a six-day "Heart of
Germany" sailing along the Main River and Main-Danube canal starts at
$2,099.
