Celebrity River Cruises has announced details about room categories and its inaugural itineraries in 2027.
The cruise line released a 32-page brochure with details about its itineraries, sailing dates and ships. Celebrity, which signed an initial order for 10 river ships, will sail the Celebrity Compass and Celebrity Seeker in its first year.
The Celebrity Compass will debut in August 2027 with five itineraries while the Celebrity Seeker will sail beginning in October 2027 on seven itineraries.
Prices for the eight-day Danube sailing on the Compass start at $2,999 for a river view room, while the vista balcony suite will cost $6,899.
"The Danube Budapest & Vienna" itinerary will start in Budapest and end in Vilshofen in Germany. Travelers will visit Bratislava, Hainburg, Vienna, Melk and Engelhartszell. "The Danube Vienna & Budapest" itinerary will start in Vilshofen and end in Budapest, and will visit Salzburg, Grein, Durnstein, Tulln and Gonyu.
The Celebrity Compass and Celebrity Seeker will operate both itineraries, along with three Christmas market cruises on the Danube beginning in November. Prices start at $3,299 for "The Danube Vilshofen to Budapest Christmas Markets" and "The Danube Budapest to Nuremberg Christmas Markets" itineraries, while "The Danube Nuremberg to Budapest Christmas Markets" starts at $3,699.
Three holiday cruises starting at $2,999 will be operated on the Rhine for Christmas and New Year's.
The Celebrity Compass will operate "The Rhine Nuremberg to Amsterdam New Year's" itinerary beginning Dec. 30, 2027, so passengers can ring in the New Year on the river. Passengers will start in Nuremberg before sailing to Bamberg, Wurzburg, Miltenberg, Koblenz and Cologne. They end their trip in Amsterdam.
"The Rhine Nuremberg to Basel Holiday" sailing on the Celebrity Seeker will begin Dec. 23, 2027, starting in Nuremberg and ending in Basel. Passengers will visit Bamberg, Wurzburg, Miltenberg, Mainz, Strasbourg and Breisach.
The Dec. 30, 2027 "The Rhine Basel to Amsterdam New Year's" itinerary will take passengers to Basel, Breisach, Strasbourg, Speyer, Mainz, Dusseldorf and Amsterdam.
Specific excursions haven't been released yet, but the brochure mentions private wine tastings in Austria, thermal baths in Budapest and cycling along the Danube. Passengers will have their choice of one shore excursion per day.

Five room categories
There will be five categories of rooms, all featuring king-size beds. Suites include complimentary laundry service, butler service and an exclusive happy hour. Passengers staying in suites will have a premium drink package, exclusive dining experience once per sailing and complimentary room service.
Stateroom amenities include an onboard concierge, turndown service, a classic drink package and complimentary in-room breakfast.
The vista balcony suite, which is 258 square feet, has a separate living and sleeping area and a bathroom with dual sinks. The suite includes a private butler.
The skylight infinite balcony suite is described as "one of a kind." The 233-square-foot suite features floor-to-ceiling windows, butler service and a minibar.
The balcony category ranges in size from 211 to 225 square feet with a veranda that seats two. Infinite balcony rooms range in size from 173 to 179 square feet with wall-to-wall windows. The river view category is 157 square feet and includes a small window.
Celebrity will bring its Captain's Club to the river with points ranging from eight to 18 per night depending on room category.
