At least, that’s the scene in front of the Crystal Mozart, captured by a live-view, forward-facing camera, which broadcasts the sights that the ship passes as it sails through Central Europe.
Crystal Cruises recently launched three cameras onboard the refurbished ship that document the starboard, port and forward views for display on the Crystal Cruises website.

The company has long featured live views of its ocean ships, the Symphony and the Serenity, and also installed cameras on its yacht vessel, the Esprit, which launched last year. Curious viewers can follow the ships’ journeys digitally, including the Serenity’s first sailing of the Northwest Passage, which is currently underway.
The company says the cameras aboard the Mozart, Crystal’s first river ship, are the first of their kind in river cruising.
Crystal CEO and president Edie Rodriguez called the live views a useful planning tool for future guests hoping to catch a glimpse of a destination or itinerary that might be of interest.
“They can follow along on a voyage virtually and discern which itineraries are right for them,” she said via press release.
Or they can just keep loose tabs on family and friends as they sail, seeing a snippet of Europe from miles away.
