Emerald Waterways adds Mekong: Travel Weekly

Emerald Waterways, the four-star, all-inclusive river cruise line launched in 2014 by Australian company Scenic Tours, has added the Mekong River to its roster of river cruise offerings through a partnership with Haimark Travel.

Emerald will be selling into six 2016 departures on Haimark’s 68-passenger Mekong Navigator, which launched in 2014.

The 16-day Highlights of Vietnam & Cambodia and Mekong Cruise is priced from $4,995 per person and marks the first time Emerald is selling river cruises outside of Europe.

The Mekong sailings are being introduced with a free air offer for bookings made by June 30. The free air is being offered out of Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Denver, Dallas/Fort Worth, Chicago O'Hare, Miami, Atlanta, Washington-Dulles  and New York Kennedy. The company is offering a $1,000 air credit per person for the Mekong sailings for people traveling from other airports.
