Pandaw River Cruises is adding an extra "Voyage to Nagaland" departure next year in Myanmar.
Due to high demand, the company said it added a Sept. 5 to 12 departure from Kalewa to Homalin, a journey that Pandaw says only its small Kalay and Zawgyi Pandaw ships, with their ultra-low drafts, can make in the high water season from mid-August to Mid-October.
The route is known for its distinctive Naga warriors and various ethnic communities.
Along the way, the Chindwin River passes through dense jungles, high cliffs, deep gorges and remote villages.
