Riverside Luxury Cruises has been named a Virtuoso preferred supplier, a milestone for the young river cruise line.

The line, which debuted in 2023, will now have marketing and sales opportunities with Virtuoso travel advisors, who sell $35 billion in luxury travel every year.

Riverside CEO Jennifer Halboth said the deal means "we're relevant and here for the long haul. We don't take it lightly that they brought us in. It’s a vote of confidence."

Virtuoso advisors' clients will have access to special amenities through the agreement, which lasts through the end of 2026.

Halboth said she hopes the Virtuoso deal will "expand the pie" of river cruisers, introducing clients to the travel style.

Riverside ships on average have the largest suites in the industry and king-size beds. Guests can expect a crew ratio of one staff member per two guests. The line is known for its culinary program

"That luxury traveler really expects the food, the space, the service," Halboth said.

Halboth said the Virtuoso partnership will help Riverside continue to execute its global growth strategy.

Riverside will operate specialty cruises next year, including for golf and beer, and has restructured some Danube itineraries so passengers can link back-to-back cruises without repeating a port, except for Vienna.
