Tauck will add two new river ships to its fleet in 2027 due to "unprecedented guest demand," the company said.

The luxury travel company will add one ship on the Seine and another on the Douro, two markets the company says are thriving. With two ships debuting in 2026 and two in 2027, Tauck said this will be the highest volume increase for its river fleet in company history.

Tauck CEO Jennifer Tombaugh called traveler enthusiasm for river cruising "extraordinary." Passengers can now reserve space on 2027 itineraries.

The unnamed ships will feature a resort-style sun deck with swimming pool, an atrium and a panoramic lounge. More than 75% of ship cabins will be at least 225 square feet.

The Seine ship will measure about 410 feet and feature The Retreat, an expanded wellness area that includes a fitness center, massage room, lounge area and snack bar. It will be a sister ship to the Serene, launching next year on the Seine

The 262-foot Douro ship will be a sister ship to the Andorinha, which debuted in 2021.

"Every detail on these new ships has been designed to elevate the guest experience while cruising along two of Europe's most storied rivers," Tombaugh said.
