Uniworld Boutique River Cruises will lift vaccine requirements for guests starting in 2023.

The company said that it will continue to require passengers to be fully vaccinated this year.

When the vaccination mandate ends, Uniworld said, guests will still have to follow the entry requirements specified by each country visited along their itinerary and are responsible for ensuring they meet those requirements.

Uniworld is the first major river cruise line to relax vaccination requirements, which many ocean cruise lines started doing this month on a much faster timeline.

Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity, most Carnival Corp. lines and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings' three brands have eased their vaccination and testing requirements starting in September.
