Viva Cruises will add a second ship to its Viva Boutique premium sub-brand in 2027, and it will sail the Po River in Italy.

The ship will be called the Viva Unique. More than half of the ship's 52 cabins will be suites, including ones that are up to 323 square feet. The ship will have a wellness area, fitness room and sundeck with a pool.

Viva will offer services based on the cabin category. Suite guests will receive priority embarkation, an aperitif and access to airport transfers from Venice.

Passengers staying in the Unique Suites category will get in-suite breakfast, seasonal treats, priority dining reservations, a special experience and an aperitif with the captain and hotel manager. Those staying in twin cabins and junior suites will receive a Viva Boutique gift, a themed excursion and complimentary laundry service.

The ship will blend contemporary design with Italian influence and will have three dining venues: Moments for Italian-inspired fine dining, Trattoria for casual Mediterranean fare and the main Riverside restaurant.

"Italy has always held a special place in my heart," said CEO Andrea Kruse. "With Viva Unique, we're not just launching a ship -- we're creating a floating experience that celebrates the soul of Italian culture, cuisine and craftsmanship."

The ship will operate four itineraries, all seven nights. An overview of itineraries, which start at $4,195, is available, and bookings are open.

"The Flavors of Italy" itinerary will travel roundtrip from Venice and visit Mazzorbo, Taglio di Po, Polesella and Chioggia. The itinerary is culinary-focused.

"Timeless Journey Through the Lagoon" will cruise roundtrip from Venice and bring passengers to Mazzorbo and Chioggia.

"Discovering the Legacy of Italian Masters" will focus on the country's art and history during their cruise. They will begin their trip in Venice and end it in Cremona, visiting Mazzorbo, Taglio di Po, Polesella, Revere and Boretto along the way. "Discovering the Legacy of Italian Masters II" will sail the reverse itinerary.

Viva Boutique will debut next year with the Viva Beyond, which will sail the Seine River in France.
