Air New Zealand on Oct. 30 resumed its nonstop service between Auckland and Chicago.

Initially, the route will operate three times weekly, each Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The airline will fly a Boeing 787 Dreamliner on the route.

The resumption of Chicago service means Air New Zealand is back to serving all 29 of its international pre-Covid destinations, according to the carrier. Its six North America destinations are Honolulu, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco and Vancouver.
