Airbus has changed the name of the Bombardier C-Series aircraft to the Airbus A220-100 and A220-300.

The announcement, made at a ceremony near Airbus' headquarters in Toulouse, France, on Tuesday, came on the heels of the company taking controlling interest in the C-Series on July 1. The A220-100 was formerly the Bombardier CS100 and the A220-300 was the CS300.

The A220-100 is a 100- to 130-seat aircraft. The A220-300 is in the 130- to 150-seat range.

Delta has 75 A220-100s on order.
