Alaska Airlines will launch flights between Seattle-area airport Paine Field and Honolulu on Nov. 17.

The daily service will be the first to Honolulu from the small airport, which is located in Everett, approximately 25 miles north of downtown Seattle.

Alaska, Delta and Hawaiian fly to Honolulu from Seattle-Tacoma, the primary Seattle-area airport.

Honolulu will be Alaska's tenth destination from Paine Field.

"For those traveling between Honolulu and Washington state, flying into Seattle/Everett will be a terrific, less congested option and a great way to access the greater Seattle area," said Daniel Chun, Alaska Airlines' director of sales, community and public relations in Hawaii.
