Breeze Airways will make Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport a base of operations in 2023.

Over a five-year period, Breeze plans to grow its Providence operations to at least 20 routes, operating about 20 weekly departures by the end of 2023 and 44 weekly departures by 2027.

Breeze began serving Providence in July 2021 and currently serves five nonstop destinations: Charleston, S.C.; Jacksonville, Fla,; Norfolk, Va.; Pittsburgh; and Richmond, Va.

The airline will fly nonstop from Providence to Los Angeles; Savannah, Ga.; and Columbus, Ohio, next year. Breeze had planned to start service from Providence to those destinations this summer, but decided in June to postpone launching the routes until 2023.
