Delta SkyMiles members who are also members of the Starbucks Rewards program can now earn reward miles in concert with their morning cup of joe.
Under a loyalty partnership that went into effect Monday, SkyMiles members can earn one reward mile for every $1 they spend at Starbucks, excluding tax and tips. On days that they are scheduled to fly with Delta, SkyMiles members can also earn double their Starbuck Stars rewards at participating Starbucks outlets.
Members of the two programs must link their accounts at either the Delta or Starbucks website to take advantage of the partnership program.
SkyMiles members who link their accounts by Dec. 31 will earn an additional 500 miles once they make their first purchase.
