Delta Air Lines has done away with the $75 standby fee for customers attempting to make a same-day trip change.

Delta customers can make same-day trip changes on the Fly Delta app. If seats are available in the originally purchased fare class, they can select either a confirmed seat or a standby option.

Delta allows same-day changes for all customers except those holding Basic Economy tickets.

The carrier will continue to provide complimentary confirmed same-day travel changes for SkyMiles Diamond, Platinum and Gold Medallion members.
