Delta plans to begin daily service
between Los Angeles and Beijing on Dec.
16, pending government approval.
The route will be Delta’s second from Los Angeles to China, joining the Shanghai
service the carrier launched last July.
Delta’s lone direct competition on
the Beijing route will be Air China.
