JetBlue says it will deliver faster and more reliable onboard Wi-Fi with Amazon's Project Kuiper, a low Earth orbit satellite broadband network.

The airline plans to introduce Project Kuiper's high-speed WiFi on a portion of its fleet in 2027. A phased rollout will follow.

JetBlue will be the first airline to implement Amazon's satellite internet service. The airline's current WiFi is powered by Viasat.

JetBlue was the first airline to provide free WiFi for passengers, introducing that service in 2013.
