Southwest Airlines has applied for regulatory permission to fly
from Oakland to the Mexican destinations of Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta.
If approved, the daily services would begin in February, the
airline said in its application to the Department of Transportation. They would be the first flights out
of Oakland to Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta.
