Sabre has reached an agreement to distribute Air Canada's New Distribution Capability content for Sabre-connected travel agents.

Air Canada said it expects to activate its NDC content in Sabre "within the coming months."

Once launched, the distribution-cost recovery fee previously announced by Air Canada will be waived for Sabre-connected travel agencies using the NDC path, according to the carrier.

In April, Air Canada announced it would start to levy on June 14 a per-ticket fee of $20 to $30 on bookings made through traditional Edifact-connected channels as it makes its push for NDC distribution.
