Southwest will continue blocking middle seats through November, an extension that will take flyers though the Thanksgiving travel period.
The carrier had previously pledged to limit capacity on its aircraft through Oct. 31.
Customers are still able to choose their own seats, so parties traveling together may use middle seats, the airline noted.
