ARC-accredited travel agencies sold $2.8 billion in airline tickets in March, an 82% increase from February's net sales.

The jump is the third in a row, month-over-month.

The data comes as airlines are reporting surging domestic leisure travel. Delta reported Thursday that leisure domestic bookings currently have recovered to 85% of 2019 levels. However, corporate and international travel remain approximately 80% down from 2019.

ARC said total passenger trips increased 54% month-over-month in March.
