Amtrak: Spanish-language content on Web-based mobile service: Travel Weekly

Amtrak Mobile, a service that permits travelers to make Amtrak reservations and check train schedules on Web enabled mobile devices, is now available in Spanish.

The Spanish-language Amtrak Mobile en Espanol is accessible on personal computers, cell phones and PDAs capable of connecting to the Internet. BlackBerry, Treo and Pocket PC users may also access the service as well.

Amtrak said the Amtrak Mobile service, which debuted last summer, has helped direct more business to its Web site, www.Amtrak.com, which now accounts for 42% of its sales.
