Booking.com has partnered with Here Mobility to expand its ground transportation offering capability by about 1.3 million vehicles across 70 cities in the United States and Europe.
Over the past three years, Booking.com has grown its airport taxi offering to cover about 800 cities around the world, and the Here platform, which includes both taxis and chauffeured cars, will add to that footprint.
In a separate pilot program, Booking.com also is enabling travelers to buy and use public transportation tickets through its app in 26 cities around the world.
