Travel Leaders Network and Travel Leaders Corporate are
making a push to expand internationally by creating a worldwide network of
agencies to provide better, more local service to corporate customers.
According to Travel Leaders Group (TLG), the parent company
of both brands, 40 major travel agencies have recently become TLN members. They
are located throughout Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Asia. TLG
said more are expected to join in the coming months.
TLN already had several existing international members.
Today, it has agencies in nearly 50 countries. The network will be further
bolstered by its existing agencies in the U.S., Canada the U.K. and Mexico.
Regional sales professionals have been hired in Latin
America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.
TLN president Roger Block said the network plans to bring aboard
one exclusive Travel Leaders agency in "key countries around the globe."
Travel Leaders Corporate president Gabe Rizzi said the
expansion will help the company become "more robust international players
with stronger abilities and reach."
Angeles Tugdar, senior vice president of international
markets for TLG, is leading the expansion and overseeing new regional team
members. She is assisted by Kevin Brown, vice president of international sales
for Travel Leaders Corporate.
Carina Fernandez Grenno is the regional partner management
director for Latin America. Susan Lancaster will fill that role for Europe, the
Middle East and Africa, and Pat Siow will fill the role for Asia Pacific.
