The Senate has confirmed Sean Duffy as secretary of transportation.

The Fox Business host and former Republican congressman from Wisconsin received 77 yes votes and 22 no votes. Every Senate Republican voted in favor of Duffy's confirmation. They were joined by 24 members of the Democratic caucus.
"There is a significant opportunity ahead to strengthen and improve the travel process by modernizing our nation's travel infrastructure," U.S Travel Association president Geoff Freeman said in a congratulatory statement Tuesday. "U.S. Travel looks forward to partnering with Secretary Duffy and the DOT to, as he put it in his confirmation hearing, 'usher in a golden age of travel.'"
