Atlanta's Westin Peachtree Plaza, the tallest hotel in the U.S. Southeast, has completed a $70 million renovation.
The hotel, whose Westin flag flies under Starwood Hotels & Resorts, upgraded all of its 1,073 rooms and redesigned its lobby. The hotel's top-floor revolving Sun Dial Restaurant and its 85,000 square feet of meetings space were also upgraded.
The 73-story building, designed by noted architect John Portman, was Atlanta's tallest building when the hotel opened in 1976.
