Bally's Corp. has revealed plans for a 3,000-room resort on the Las Vegas Strip, which will share a 35-acre campus with the new Las Vegas Athletics ballpark.

The project will be located at the site of the former Tropicana Las Vegas, which was acquired by Bally's in 2022 and demolished last year. The Oakland Athletics, which received Major League Baseball's approval to relocate to Las Vegas, also unveiled plans for a $1.5 billion ballpark on nine acres of the site early last year.

The resort will be named the Bally's Las Vegas and will feature two luxury hotel towers, a 2,500-seat entertainment venue and over 500,000 square feet of retail, dining and entertainment space. The property will offer a casino and VIP experiences incorporating direct ballpark access.

Construction is expected to start in the first half of 2026.

Bally's has partnered with real estate and investment management company JLL on the project, with Marnell Architecture serving as the architect of record. JLL will lead retail and dining sourcing for the resort.

In a statement, Bally's board chairman Soo Kim said the project will be "a landmark destination that unites sports, entertainment, dining and hospitality on a scale only Las Vegas can deliver."

The resort will mark a return of the Bally's name to the Strip. The former Bally's Las Vegas resort, which had operated under that name since 1986, was rebranded as Horseshoe Las Vegas by owner Caesars Entertainment in 2022, after Caesars sold the Bally's brand name to Twin River Worldwide Holdings (now Bally's Corp.) in 2020.

Bally's Corp. currently owns and operates 19 casinos across 11 U.S. states.
