The family-oriented ClubHotel Riu Bambu in Punta Cana has
reopened, following a resort-wide renovation and upgrade project.
The 1,000-room property on Arena Gorda Beach added two new
restaurants for a total of seven, the Riu4U teen club, another swim-up bar, a
gym next to the beach and two new pools in addition to the existing three
pools.
All of the guest rooms feature new furniture, decor and
refurbished bathrooms.
The all-inclusive resort originally opened in 1999 and was
partially refurbished in 2004 and in 2010.
Riu Hotels currently has six properties in Punta Cana: the
Riu Palace Bavaro, Riu Palace Punta Cana, Riu Palace Macao, Riu Naiboa, the
ClubHotel Riu Bambu, and the Riu Republica, which will showcase 400 new rooms,
four new restaurants, five bars and a new water park at the end of the year.
