Disney unveiled plans for several new attractions at its
Florida parks, including a host of initiatives at Epcot, on Saturday at the D23
Expo in Anaheim.
Disney is calling the Epcot projects a transformation that
will "realize the original vision of the park while making it more
timeless and relevant than ever before."
A Guardians of the Galaxy ride is under development, and a
new space at the World Showcase's France pavilion will be home to a Ratatouille
attraction. It will be patterned after the Ratatouille ride at Disneyland
Paris, the top family attraction at that park, according to Disney.
In Future World, a new Green Mission at Mission: Space will
take guests on a tour around the Earth, and an updated Orange Mission will make
the trip to Mars "even more spectacular," Disney said.

Disney is building a new live entertainment theater at Magic Kingdom's Main Street, U.S.A.
Adjacent to Mission: Space will be a new restaurant that
will invite guests to travel high above the earth for an "unforgettable
dining experience," Disney said.
At Disney's Hollywood Studios, Mickey and Minnie's
Runaway Railway will be based on the "Mickey Mouse" cartoon shorts. Disney said new
technologies will "transform the flat cartoon world into an incredible
dimensional experience."
At the Magic Kingdom, a Tron-themed attraction will be built
in a new area near Space Mountain. Disney said Tron is the highest-rated
attraction at Shanghai Disneyland.

A Tron attraction will be built near Space Mountain at the Magic Kingdom.
A new live entertainment theater is coming to Main Street,
U.S.A. The theater is inspired by the Willis Wood Theater in 1920s Kansas City.
Also, Disney will replace Paradise Pier with Pixar Pier at
the Disney California Adventure theme park in Anaheim. Favorite Pixar
characters and stories will come to life, from "The Incredibles" to "Inside
Out" to "Toy Story."
