AMResorts, a subsidiary of Apple Leisure Group, announced plans to open the all-inclusive, family-friendly Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort on Mexico's Caribbean coast.
The 500-room property, 10 minutes from Cancun, is set to open in early 2016 as the second AMResorts property in the area, joining the Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort, which is slated to open on Nov. 15.
Guests at Dreams will have access to a marina, an 18-hole Greg Norman-designed golf course, a private beach, the signature Explorer's Club for kids, 24-hour room and concierge services, daily entertainment, Dreams Spa by Pevonia and numerous food and beverage options.
The announcement marks the fifth deal closed by AMResorts this year and the 13th property in the Dreams Resorts & Spas brand.
