All-inclusive hotel group the Excellence Collection has resumed operations at its Excellence Punta Cana resort in the Dominican Republic.
The 461-room property marks the final pandemic-related reopening for the Excellence Collection, which began welcoming guests back to its other all-inclusives earlier this year.
The Excellence Collection portfolio currently comprises seven properties located across the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Jamaica, each operating under the group's adults-only Excellence Resorts, couples-only Beloved Hotels or all-ages Finest Resorts brands. An eighth resort -- the Finest Punta Cana -- is on track to debut later this year.
Concurrently, the Excellence Collection has announced that it is extending its free Covid-19 testing policy through July 31, making complimentary tests available to guests who require them to re-enter their countries of origin. The brand will also continue to provide complimentary accommodations to guests who test positive.
