Mobil Travel Guide will become Forbes Travel Guide on Oct. 1, when a licensing agreement between Mobil and Forbes Media kicks in.
The Mobil Four and Five Star Award designation will become the Forbes Four and Five Star Award designation for hotels, restaurants and spas, beginning with the 2010 ratings announcements.
"We are committed to the same rigor and discipline of the inspections and ratings process," said Mobil Travel Guide CEO Shane O’Flaherty.
Mobil Travel Guide has been around since 1958.
