Hilton opens first hotel in Russia

The first Hilton-branded hotel in Russia, the 273-room Hilton Moscow Leningradskaya, has opened in the country's capital.

The hotel, owned by JSC Sadko and managed by Interstate Hotels & Resorts, recently completed a two-year restoration.

Originally constructed in 1954, the 28-story property has retained many of its architectural features, said Interstate.

Among the upscale hotel's amenities are an indoor swimming pool and sauna; 24-hour fitness center; business center; 7,000 square feet of meetings space; and the Janus Restaurant, featuring Russian cuisine.
