Hilton Worldwide will take over and rebrand the Concorde Opera in Paris late next year.

Hilton will rebrand the 124-year-old hotel, located in Paris’s 8th Arrondissement, as the Hilton Paris Opera.

The 266-room property was acquired earlier this year by Hilton majority owner Blackstone Group. The hotel, which opened as the Grand Hotel Terminus in 1889, will undergo a “significant” renovation, Hilton said in a statement.

Earlier this month, Accor said the 311-room Hotel Concorde Berlin will become a Sofitel in February.

The Hotel Crillon in Paris, which had been operated by Concorde before closing for renovations earlier this year, will be taken over by Rosewood Hotels & Resorts when it reopens in 2015.

And earlier this year, Hyatt took over four hotels in France totaling more than 1,700 rooms that were operated by Concorde, including Hotel Martinez in Cannes and Concorde Lafayette in Paris.
