The Hyatt Centric La Rosiere has opened next to the French Alps ski mountain of La Rosiere.

The resort offers slope-side accommodations in the Tarentaise Valley and is near other French Alps destinations like Courchevel, Val d'Isere and Les Arcs.

The hotel is Hyatt's first to open in a European ski-resort area.

Located at an altitude of 6,070 feet near the French-Italian border, the resort features La Tavola Italian restaurant, French restaurant Brasserie H40 and Surus Lounge Bar, which has a large collection of rums.

The hotel's 69 rooms include 12 family suites. The property has a spa with a sauna, steam room and outdoor hot tub.

The Hyatt Centric will be operated by Sophos Hotels.
