The 350-room Hyatt Regency Curacao Golf Resort, Spa and Marini welcomed its first guests on April 20.
The resort is the centerpiece of the 1,500-acre Santa Barbara Plantation resort community, which features a Pete Dye-designed golf course, the Atabei Spa and a marina.
The property offers a variety of activities that highlight Curacao’s local culture and heritage. At Camp Arawak, kids 12 and under can explore natural surroundings during cave hikes and iguana feedings. The Lama Salt Bar enables guests to customize body scrubs using sea salts and herbs. The resort also has a farm-to-table dining program.
"We’ve worked diligently to capture Curacao’s colorful culture and charm throughout the resort, and we look forward to sharing this with our guests," said Diego Concha, general manager.
The resort has three outdoor pools, a sundeck, three restaurants, a fitness center, a jogging trail, tennis and volleyball courts and more than 38,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space.
Introductory rates start at $199 per room, per night.
