Loews Hotels & Resorts said it has set aside more than $500 million to acquire and build hotels in cities such as Chicago, San Francisco and Washington.
In addition to major cities, Loews is also looking at expanding its operation of beach and snow resorts.
New York-based Loews operates 18 luxury hotels throughout North America, including New York’s Loews Regency Hotel and Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel near Los Angeles.
