Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts will take over
management of the Resort at Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas. It will be the luxury
brand's first property in Mexico.
The resort will be reflagged as the Waldorf Astoria Los
Cabos Pedregal and join the Waldorf Astoria portfolio by the fourth quarter of 2019.
Set on 24 acres of beachfront land, the Resort at Pedregal's
115 guestrooms and suites all have ocean views and private plunge pools.
Additional amenities include three swimming pools -- an infinity pool
overlooking the Pacific Ocean, a saltwater pool and a children's pool -- and
the Luna y Mar Spa, which specializes in a variety of organic treatments
inspired by the lunar cycle, the sea and Mexican folk healing.
Several dining options are available, including signature
restaurant Don Manuel's, which serves Mexican cuisine, and ocean-to-table
concept El Farallon. Crudo, which is located at the pool bar, offers casual
fare like fresh ceviche, while the Beach Club features a menu of locally sourced
items like fresh-caught fish and chips.
Alternatively, guests can opt for private chef services, enabling
them to enjoy a personalized meal in their room or on their terrace. On-demand
cocktail carts are also available throughout the property.
According to Waldorf Astoria parent company Hilton, the
Resort at Pedregal earned seven TripAdvisor Traveler's Choice awards earlier
this year, including No. 1 of Top 25 Hotels in Mexico, No. 1 of Top 25 Hotels
for Service in Mexico and No. 7 of Top 25 Hotels in the World.
