Margaritaville and Karisma Hotels & Resorts have teamed up to unveil St. Somewhere, a new boutique resort concept.
The first St. Somewhere property is on track to debut this fall in Isla Holbox, a small island located north of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula.
According to Shamim Lodin, Margaritaville's executive director of hotel development, St. Somewhere will combine Margaritaville's "signature laid-back luxury vibe with a more personalized and intimate island experience."
The new brand will cater to both couples and families. It is the second brand developed in partnership between Margaritaville and Karisma, following their rollout of the luxury all-inclusive Margaritaville Island Reserve by Karisma in 2019.
The pair debuted their first Margaritaville Island Reserve outpost in Mexico's Riviera Cancun last year. Another property, Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana, is expected to open in the Dominican Republic this October.
