Marriott International's luxury lifestyle brand Edition has planted its flag in Rome.

Located near Rome's Via Veneto, the 91-room Rome Edition is housed within a former bank building that dates to the 1940s. Guestrooms are decorated with muted colors and walnut wood accents.

The hotel is anchored by a variety of food and beverage venues, with chef Paola Colucci spearheading all culinary programming. Chief among the property's concepts is Anima, billed as a "modern Italian-Mediterranean" all-day restaurant showcasing fare from different regions of Italy.

Anima is joined by several bars, including the mixology-focused Punch Room and Jade Bar, both located on the ground floor, and a rooftop lounge aptly called the Roof. In addition to a large bar area, the Roof is home to a travertine plunge pool surrounded by daybed seating.

Rounding out the F&B offerings is the Garden, a plant-filled, indoor-outdoor space that provides outdoor seating for Anima on one side and functions as an all-day terrace venue with a separate menu of "light dishes" on the other.

The property is also home to a "wellness space," featuring both a gym and treatment rooms.

The Rome Edition grows Edition's footprint to 16 hotels worldwide and marks the brand's sixth property in Europe.
