WASHINGTON -- MeriStar Hospitality Corp. here, a real estate
investment trust, completed its acquisition of the Fort Myers,
Fla.-based South Seas Properties Co.
South Seas Properties encompasses the 570-unit South Seas
Plantation on Captiva Island, Fla., and six other resorts plus a
golf course, all on Florida's west coast.
The holdings are operated and leased by MeriStar Hotels &
Resorts.
