Motto by Hilton New York City Chelsea, the first lifestyle hotel in New York from the hospitality company, opened Jan. 12.
The 347-room hotel is the first newbuild under the Motto brand, which launched in 2018 and includes hotels in Washington and Philadelphia with 15 more in the development pipeline.

The 42-story Motto Chelsea was designed by Stonehill Taylor and offers 19 sets of connecting rooms, with the option to book up to three rooms that can connect together. Through the Hilton Honors smartphone application, guests can control the in-room television, thermostat, lighting and other features such as a white noise device. Rooms come in a variety of sleeping arrangements, including a bunk bed option, a "king flex" where the bed stows into the wall and rooms with four twin beds.
Bar Cicchetti on the hotel's ground floor is a full-service restaurant, lounge and bar operated by Fabio Viviani, who appeared on season five of Bravo's "Top Chef."
Additional amenities include a second-floor event space with capacity for up to 150 people and an outdoor terrace, coffee bar and fitness center.
