Dusit International plans to reopen by June the DusitD2 Nairobi, a hotel that has been shuttered since the mixed-use complex that houses the property was hit by a deadly terrorist attack on Jan. 15.

Twenty-one people were killed, including four hotel employees and two contract security staff members.

The hotel is in Nairobi's upscale Westlands neighborhood. Ahead of the relaunch, the hotel will receive various upgrades, including the addition of new dining concepts.

Several neighboring businesses within the complex, including office buildings, reopened on Jan. 28.
