Nairobi skyscraper will be home to Hilton hotel

A Hilton hotel in Nairobi, Kenya, is scheduled to open in 2020 in what will be Africa's tallest building  at 1,083 feet.

The Hilton Nairobi Upper Hill will be part of a project with residential, retail and entertainment components. The building will be 330 meters (1,083 feet) tall. The 255-room hotel will have  five restaurants and bars.

It will be Hilton’s second hotel in the city. The 287-room Hilton Nairobi opened in 1969. Hilton is slated to open a Hilton Garden Inn near Kenyatta International Airport next year.
