RODNEY BAY, St. Lucia -- Opening date for the Sandals Grande St.
Lucian Spa & Beach Resort here now is set for Sept. 22. The
resort originally was scheduled to open Aug. 15.
Although the resort will open without a casino, the possibility
of developing one has not been ruled out, according to a
spokesperson.
The former Hyatt property had space allocated for a casino,
which Sandals initially plans to use for meetings and group
functions.
