Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has opened the Sheraton Tucuman Hotel in San Miguel de Tucuman in northwestern Argentina.
The 124-room property is the ninth Sheraton-branded hotel in Argentina and the 10th hotel under a Starwood brand in the country.
"Adding the Sheraton Tucuman to our portfolio and continuing to expand the brand's footprint in Argentina is part of our aggressive expansion strategy in Latin America," said Osvaldo Librizzi, Starwood's co-president of the Americas.
Facilities include meetings space, a restaurant, a lobby bar and a snack bar, a pool and an 8,6000-square-foot spa, which is the first in the region.
