The Hotel Saint-Barth Isle de France on St. Barts will be reflagged as the Cheval Blanc St-Barth Isle de France when it reopens Oct. 15 following a six-week closure.
Cheval Blanc is the hospitality brand of LVMH Hotel Management, a division of Paris-based LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton luxury products company.
The 40-suite St. Barts resort joins the two Cheval Blanc properties in the Maldives and Courchevel, France.
The resort will reopen with a Cheval Blanc Spa by Guerlain and a fitness center.
An excursion called the Big Blue Escape is a full-day yacht cruise around the island, with lobster lunch on the beach and an onboard spa treatment.
U.S. travelers make up 60% of the resort's market, followed by French, British and Brazilian guests, according to a spokesperson.
English is spoken at the hotel. Agent commission is 10%, and opening rates will start at $800 per suite, per night, double.
