Universal Orlando Resort has opened the Surfside Inn and
Suites, its seventh hotel and the first in its new Value category.
The 750-room Surfside is one of two Value hotels that will
be part of Universal's Endless Summer Resort. The Dockside Inn & Suites will
add more than 2,000 hotel rooms when it opens in 2020.
Universal said Surfside rates start at $73 per night for a seven-night
stay. Two-bedroom suites start at $111 for a seven-night stay.
The resort features a surfboard-shaped pool and the Sand
Bar, which serves beach-inspired beverages.
The Beach Break Cafe is a food
court open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, inspired by food trucks, local
joints and backyard barbecues. Most items will be under $12. There will be
grab-and-go options for guests heading to the theme parks.
